TC: anti-arrythmic/ bronchodilator
PC: anticholinergic (inhibits PNS)

Use:
- decreases secretions
- asthma/COPD
- bradycardia

TC: treat urinary retention
PC: cholinergic (stimulates PNS)
Use:
- help if patients have urinary retention
- post op

Phenylephrine

A

TC: nasal decongestant, antihypotensive
PC: adrenergic drug (stimulates SNS)
USE:
Intranasal - constrict BV in nose
Topical - dilate pupils
Parenteral - reverse hypotension
Antidote: prentolamine

TC: antihypertensive
PC: adrenergic blocking drug (blocks SNS)
MOA: Dec peripheral resistance
Side effects:
- orthostatic hypotension
- give at bedtime
- low first dose
