What is the difference between annual and perennial plants? (4)

A

Annual plants survive through the winter as dormant

Seeds which germinate in the spring. Examples- peas and poppies

Perennial plants don’t die but grow again next year

They survive in a dormant state throughout the winter and grow again in the spring and summer
