Distal Fibula Anterior Articulatory Treatment
A
- Have patient lay on their back with their foot hanging off the edge of the bed.
- Wrap one hand under calcaneus.
- Dorsiflex their foot and push posteriorly on their distal fibula with your other hand.
- Apply a gentle but firm force, rhythmically for about 1-2 seconds.
- Rest for 1-2 seconds and repeat until motion improves.
- REASSESS TART

Distal Fibula Posterior Articulatory Treatment
A
- Have patient lay on their stomach with their foot hanging off the edge of the bed.
- Wrap one hand over calcaneus.
- Plantarflex their foot and push anterioly on their distal fibula with your other hand.
- Apply a gentle but firm force, rhythmically for about 1-2 seconds.
- Rest for 1-2 seconds and repeat until motion improves.
- REASSESS TART

Dorsiflexed Talus Muscle Energy Treatment
A
- Pt lays on back with foot over bed.
- Grab persons ankle with one hand.
- Grab the top of the foot with the other
- Put them into plantarflexion
- Have them dorsiflex
- Hold for 3-5, rest and go to new barrier until a new one cannot be met.
- REASSESS TART

Plantarflexed Talus Muscle Energy Treatment
A
- Pt lays on back with foot over bed.
- Grab persons ankle with one hand.
- Grab the top of the foot with the other
- Put them into dorsiflexion
- Have them plantarflexion
- Hold for 3-5, rest and go to new barrier until a new one cannot bemet.
- REASSESS TART

- Talus Eversion with anteromedial glide
- Talus Inversion with posterolateral glide
Articulatory Treatment
(with traction)
A
- Have pt sit on the bed with the foot hanging over.
- Grab persons calcaneus and dorsum of their foot
- Add traction & make a figure 8.
- Continue until motion improves
- REASSES TART

- Everted Cuboid with plantar glide
- Inverted Navicular with plantar glide
- Cuneiform plantar glide
Muscle Energy Treatment
A
- Have pt laying down
- Lift their foot off of the table and dorsiflex to engage the RB. Adjust with inversion, eversion and dorsiflexion, plantarflexion.
- Make an x with my fingers, with one finger on the cuboid and one on the navicular.
- Tell them to push down while you apply an equal force for 3-5 seconds.
- Rest
- engage new RB
- REASSESS TART

- Sit at the foot of the table and isolate the joint.
- Engage the barrier
- Apply a gentle but firm force, rhythmically for about 1-2 seconds.

- Sit at the foot of the table and isolate the joint.
- Engage the barrier
- Apply a gentle but firm force, rhythmically for about 1-2 seconds.
- Rest for 1-2 seconds and repeat until motion improves.
- Reassess TART
