a group of animals, insects, or plants of the same type that live together
Ex: a colony of ants
Hive(n)
a group of bees living together in a hive
Ex: A hive is a place where bees make honey
Herd(n)
A group of animals that live and feed together
Ex: A herd of sheep
Poach(v)
to catch and kill animals without permission on someone else’s land
Ex: rhinos are being poached by the hunter
Forage(v)
to go around searching for food or other supplies
Ex: They spend most of their life foraging

The process of taking care, breeding, feeding livestock
Ex: intensive reared livestock

Uncomfortably small or restricted place
Ex: livestock suffer horribly because of cramp living conditions
