Animal and Plant Cells Flashcards
Animal cell
No cell wall or chloroplast
No permanent vacuole
Nucleus: controls all active of the cell surrounded nuclear membrane.
Cytoplasm: a liquid gel, where chemical reaction take place.
Cell membrane: controls passage substance such as glucose. Controls movement of substance.
Mitochondria: structure in the cytoplasm where aerobic respiration take place, releasing energy for cells.
Ribosomes: help make protein.
Plant cell:
Chloroplast: found in green part of plant. Green contain chloroplast. Which absorb light makes food for photosynthesis.
Cell wall: strengths the cell and give it support.
A permanent vacuole: is a space in the cytoplasm filled with cell sap. This is important as it keeps the cell from getting rigid or support the plant.
