Evaluation

A

Electric Approach (S)
. Works on several levels: cognitive, behavioural and social
^ acknowledges offending is complex social and psychological activity

Comparison with BM (S)
. Tries to tackle 1 cause of offending rather than surface behaviour. Treatment programmes gives offenders skills - more likely to lead to permenant change

Limited long term effectiveness (W)
. Application phase relies heavily on role play - not reflect all possible triggers
