How does culture play a role in assessing anger?
Anger usually relates to norm violation but norms are culturally dependent. Differences in acceptability and expression. Need to understand how anger fits into the clients culture.

Acute emotional and physiological experience. From mild irritation to intense rage.. Universally experienced
What is trait anger?
More enduring personality dimension. Chronic tendency to experience greater frequency, intensity, duration. continuum.

What 4 factors are used in defining/assessing anger?
- Frequency (anger 2-3x per day= high)
