General features of anemia

A

Symptoms (all are non-specific)

Fatigue, headaches and faintness are all very common Palpitations Breathlessness Angina Intermittent claudication

Signs (all are non-specific)

 Pallor  Tachycardia (palpitation)  Hemic murmurs (functional, systolic).  Heart Failure in severe anemia (with hemoglobin < 4 gm/dl)
