The social group that made up most of the gladiators was plebeians. In this group it consisted of prisoners of war, slaves. Gladiator combat was full of violence and fighting. They influenced Roman society because they demonstrated a sense of power to overcome death and instilled the sense of courage and discipline.

A

Romans practiced the religion of polytheism. One of their gods was Jupiter. Her was considered the god of all gods and was the god of the sky and thunder. Another one of their gods was Juno. She is the god of love and marriage. She was focused on in childbirth, fertility, and health. The romans worship these gods by celebrations, rituals, and sacrifices. They also build things for their gods like temples.
