There are 2 main types of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA)
cANCA = Cytoplasmic
pANCA = Perinuclear

- Microscopic polyangiitis +ve in 40%

  • Immune crescentic glomerulonephritis +ve in 80%
  • Microscopic polyangiitis +ve in 50-75%
  • Churg-Strauss syndrome +ve in 60%
  • PSC +ve in 60-80%
  • Wegener’s granulomatosis +ve in 25%
