There are 2 main types of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA)
cANCA = Cytoplasmic
pANCA = Perinuclear

pANCA = Churg-Strauss syndrome

- Wegener’s granulomatosis +ve in >90%
- Microscopic polyangiitis +ve in 40%

- Immune crescentic glomerulonephritis +ve in 80%
- Microscopic polyangiitis +ve in 50-75%
- Churg-Strauss syndrome +ve in 60%
- PSC +ve in 60-80%
- Wegener’s granulomatosis +ve in 25%

- Autoimmune hepatitis
- IBD
- UC >Crohns
- CTDs - RA, SLE, Sjogren’s
