Q

Cerebrum?

A

Has many neurons (nerve cells) and covers the majority of the brain. Controls movement and interrupts information gathered by the senses. It consist of 2 hemispheres: left and right.

16
Q

Right hemisphere in the cerebrum?

A

The right hemisphere controls the areas for music, art and emotion.

17
Q

Midbrain?

A

Controls the most basic brain functions; primitive emotions and drives.

18
Q

Cerebellum?

A

Makes movement coordinated and smooth.

19
Q

Medulla Oblongata?

A

Responsible for involuntary functions such are breathing, heartbeat and blood pressure. This is the lower brain stem.

20
Q

What are all the organ systems in the body called?

A

Integumentary, muscular, nervous, reproductive, urinary, digestive, respiratory, lymphatic, endocrine, skeletal and cardiovascular

21
Q

Muscular system?

A

Muscles composed of skeletal muscle tissue; produce movement.
