Q

Define the Anatomical position

Q

Compare supination with pronation

A

Supination:
In the forearm, refers to the turning of the forearm and hand so that the palm is facing up.
In the foot refers to the outward roll
of the foot during normal motion.
While Pronation:
In the forearm, refers to the turning of the forearm and hand so that the palm is facing down. In the foot refers to the inward roll of
the foot during normal motion

Q

What is dorsi and plantar flexion?

A

Movement which decreases the angle between the foot and the leg (toes going up)
PLANTAR FLEXION
Movement which increases the angle between the foot and the leg (heel lifted up)

Q

What is the axial and appendicular skeleton

A

Axial is the skeleton that povides basic structure e.g skull gives our head its shape
Appendicular skeleton is the section where it’s main function is to porvide support for mobility e.g Arms legs shoulder pelvis
