Menisci of knee
Fibrocartilage situated medial an lateral on roof of tibia
Boundaries of popliteal fossa
Superolateral - biceps femoris, Superomedial - semimembranosus, Inferiorly - gastrocnemius, roof - popliteal foscia
Ankle jerk reflex on calcaneal tendon tests what
S1, S2 nerve roots
during pronation of arm what happens
radius moves over the ulna

Hypothenar (medial)
Thenar nerve supply
recurrent branch of median nerve
Hypothenar nerve supply
deep branch of ulnar nerve
Brachial Plexus oriinates from
C5 - T1 (axilla>medial arm, travels around brachial artery)
Brachial plexus mnemonic
Really Tired Drink Coffee Now (roots, trunks, divisions, cords, nerves)
C5 + C6 =
Superior trunk
C7 =
middle trunk
C8 + T1 =
Inferior trunk
Lateral cord =
Musculo cutaneous nerve
Medial cord =
ulnar nerve
Lateral + medial cord =
Median nerve
Posterior cord =
Axillary + Radial nerve
Dermatomes of hand
C6 (at thumb) > C7 (middle finger and half of neighbour fingers) > C8 (medial hand)
Carpal Tunnel syndrome
compression of median nerve > weakness in thenar muscles (numbness in digits 1-3 and laterl half of 4)
Vascualture of arm
