Arterial blood flow of upper limbs
- Left ventricle, descending aorta, aortic arch into 3 branches = left common carotid, left subclavian & brachiocephalic
Brachiocephalic into right common carotid & right subclavian
Right subclavian into right internal thoracic, right vertebrae, thyrocervical trunk & right axilla
Right axilla into anterior & posterior humeral circumflex & right brachial
Right brachial into deep brachial, deep & superficial ulnar collateral, right ulnar (interosseous arteries) & right radial
Right radial & ulnar into deep & superficial palmar arch into digital arteries
Vein blood flow in upper limbs
Digital veins into palmar venous arch into ulnar & radial vein, cephalic vein (thumb), median antebrachial vein, basillic vein (pinky)
Cephalic & basillic vein into median cubital
Ulnar & radial vein into brachial vein with basillic vein into right axillary vein
Artery blood flow in lower limbs
Abdominal aorta into right common iliac artery into right internal iliac artery & right external iliac artery
Right external iliac artery into femoral artery into popliteal artery, genicular artery & deep femoral artery (lateral & medial femoral circumflex)
Popliteal artery into anterior & posterior tibial & fibular
Anterior tibial into dorsalis pedis & dorsal arch
Posterior tibial into medial & lateral plantar & plantar arch
Vein flow of lower limbs
Dorsal arch into dorsal pedis vein & anterior tibial vein
Plantar arch into medial & lateral plantar vein into posterior tibial vein
Anterior & posterior tibial vein & fibular vein into popliteal vein
Popliteal vein, small & great saphenous vein & deep femoral vein (lateral & medial femoral circumflex vein) into femoral vein
Femoral vein into right external iliac vein
Right external & internal iliac vein into right common iliac vein
Right & left common iliac vein into IVR
