A

Is when:
A patient is stading up right heard facing upward, arms on abduction, palms facing forward, feet on the floor slightly apart, toea facing forward

Projections

A

PA- postiroAntrior projections- refers to projection where CR goes from posterior to enterior part of the body
AP- Anterior Posterior projection-refers to projection where CR goes from Anterior to Posterior pary6of the body
Lateral- refers to projection made on side, its name according to the side closest to the IR

Body planes

A

Frontal- longitudinal plane that separate the body into posterior and Anterior
Sagittal- longitudinal plane that separate the body into left and right
Mid sagittal- longitudinal plane that separate the body into equal left and right
Transverse - its an horizontal plane that crosses the longitidinal plane perpendicular

Surfaces, relationships, movement and direction

A

Anterior/ventral - front part of the body
Posterior /dorsal-back part of the body
Inferior/caudad - part of the body away from the head ends
Superior/cephalad - part of the body towards the heads end
Adduction and Adduction - adbuction is when the arm or the leg move away from the midline of the body, adduction os moving towards the midline of the body.
Medial and lateral - medial is towards the midline of the Patients body and lateral is away from the midline
Proximal and distal-proximal is towards the source of yhe beginning and distal is aways from the source of beginning.
