What is the anatomical position?
- Body erect and facing front
- Arms are hanging at the side of the body
- Facing forward
Which are the 3 main divisions of the anatomical plane?
Sagittal, coronal, transversal?
How is sagittal?
Vertical line dividing the body in left and right
How is midsagittal?
Divides the body in equal left and right halves
How is parasagittal?
Divides into left and right unequal sections
How is coronal?
Vertical line dividing into posterior and anterior
How is transversal?
Horizontal line dividing in superior and anterior
Which are the two main cavities of the body?

What is the abdominal-pelvic cavity?
Abdominal: Between diaphragm and border of pelvic (stomach, liver, gb, pancreas, small int., kidneys, part of large int.)
Pelvic: under the abdominal, large intestine and below. UTERUS, RECTUM, BLADDER
