abcde approach-treat LT conditions before moving on

supine unless breathing problems-raise legs to elevate bp
administer 500micrograms (0.5mg) adrenaline IM
using auto-injector (use half-0.5mg/ml) if they have it
high flow 02
repeat after 5 mins if no change

999- state anaphylaxis
remove source
supine and elevated legs
administer 0.5mg 1:1000 IM adrenaline into anterolateral thigh (1mg/ml- so half of cartilage) use pt’s before emergency kit
15l/min through non rebreather mask
repeat after 5 mins
