Constipation, nausea, vomiting, flushing, drowsiness, itching
How can an accidental overdose of opioids occur? (Other than drug abuse)
If the patient accidentally chews or breaks an extended release capsule, need to be taken with food and patient cannot operate heavy machinery
What happen if you give a pregnant women opioids during delivery?
Infant has chances of having respiratory depression, infant must be monitored 2-4 hours after delivery and mothers should avoid breastfeeding
