AUGMENTIN, on le prend quand &comment?

A

Prescribed for common bacterial infections: sinusitis, lung (acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, community acquired pneumonia) &ear (cystitis, pyelonephritis) infections, mild skin infections (skin &soft tissue infections in particular cellulitis, animal bites, severe dental abscess with spreading cellulitis) urinary tract infections, bone and joint infections, in particular osteomyelitis.
A dose is taken every 8 to 12hours, at the start of/with a meal, to reduce gastric effects.
