A
prolongs action potential in all cardiac issues. Affects sodium, potassium, calcium channels and has alpha and beta adrenergic blocking properties

Indications
A
VT or V-fib after 3 defib and epi
can also be used in afib and narrow complex tachycardias

Contraindications
A
hypersensitivity
breastfeeding in cardiogenic shock, sinus bradycardia, 2nd and 3rd av blocks

300 mg after 3rd defib
150 after five min
