A
The irreversible reaction that makes N5-tetrahydrofolate from N5, N10-THF.

How does B12 deficiency result in a folate deficiency?

B12 is needed to regenerate THF in the methionine synthase reaction. If there is no B12, all the THF is used up in the methylated form.
