The 1st Amendment protects what 4 freedoms.
guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition.

Freedom from Soldier Quarters
No home owner must shelter a soldier during times of peace and in order for a home owner to be forced to house a soldier it must be “Prescribed by Law”.
4th Amendment
Protection of a Man’s Home
Specifically from unlawful/unreasonable searches and seizure of property.
5th Amendment
Right to a Grand Jury and right of Due Process of Law.
6th Amendment
Right to a Fair Trial
States that when accused of a crime you have the right to a Lawyer, an impartial jury, right to know who the accusers are and of the nature of the crime you are being convicted of.
7th Amendment
Common Law
Distinguishes between Civil Claims in which a Jury is needed and other issues in which only a judge is needed.
8th Amendment
Banning of Excessive Bail and Fines & Unusual Punishments
9th Amendment
Protection of the Bill of Rights and “enumerated” rights outside those expressly protected by the Bill of Rights.
10th Amendment
Defining Federalism
Relationship between Federal and State Government
12th Amendment
Responsibilities of Electors and states how Presidents are voted into power.
