Types of amendments of the constitution

A
  1. Simple Majority
    Changes made to the constitution not affecting the people or states directly
  2. Special Majority
    Changes made to the FRs, DPSPs, and others not include in (1), (3)
  3. Special Majority with States ratification
    Such as:
    - Changes to SC and HC
    - Changes to GST Council
    - Changes to any list in Schedule - VII
    - Changes to A368
