Sleeves/tail length: no limit to shorten
Bicep: take in 3-4”
Body: take in 3-4”
*if taking in more than 2”, consider making back darts so it’s evenly spaced

Half girth - center back seam can be let out 1/2 - 1”
Shorten - 1”-2” depending on pockets

Jacket seam allowances

A

Finished sleeves: lengthen or shorten 3/4” (sometimes add 5th button)
Unfinished sleeves: lengthen up to 1 1/2” / shorten up to 1”
Half girth: sides in - up to 3” / sides out - up to 2 1/2”
Shorten back: 1”-2”
Chest: cannot let out chest / take in 1” under each arm
Half back: ease blades up to 3/4” per side
