- Only suction as far as you can see.
- use small/figure of 8 motions
- only suction for 10 seconds

A
- when the pt is in a non-shockable rhythm
- in explosive environment - petrol station , powdered custard factory
- pt is wet or lying in water.
- pt is not in cardiac arrest anymore.
