0.4/ml IM– can repeat after 2-3 minutes
4 mg nasal spray- can repeat after 5 minutes
It may take 2-5 minutes after initial dose to notice effects

Maintenance: 20 – 120 mg PO OD

zuclopenthixol (Clopixol) (regular dose or PRN)
aripiprazole (Abilifiy)
Mirtazapine and Bupropion have demonstrated promise for treatment.
