Wanneer mag PM zelf de instellingen in MCP in flight wijzigen?
PM mag bij ATC instructies de MCP aanpassen, behalve de speed. Dit moet bij PF vandaan komen. Als auto pilot erop staat, doet PF dit zelf
Verschil NADP 1 en 2
NADP 1: climb thrust 1,500 en FUMS 3,000
NADP 2: climb thrust 1,500 en FUMS 1,500
Wanneer engine anti ice
OAT 10 degrees or less +
- moisture
- visibility 1,600 or less
- standing water, slush or snow
Wanneer time critical
Uncontained fire/smoke of any situation where fuel becomes critical
Inbound radial interception sector 2
Between 30 and 60 degrees. Take a 90 degrees intercept untill in sector 1. When in sector 1, attack with 45 degrees and intercept
Inbound radial interception sector 4
You are more than 90 degrees of inbound track. Take a reciprocal course (parallel maar andere kant op). Do this for 3 minutes and start timer when abeam station. Asses your location after 3 min. When in sector 3, continue for 2 more min. When in sector 2, continue with procedure for sector 2. When in sector 1, continue with procedure for sector 1.
Inbound radial interception sector 1
You are within 30 degrees of inbound radial. Attack with 45 degrees untill you see the bar moving
Inbound radial interception sector 3
You are between 60 and 90 degrees of inbound track. Take a reciprocal course (parallel maar andere kant op) for 2 minutes. When in sector 2 or 1, continue with that procedure. When still in sector 3, continue for 1 minute
What are the inbound radial interception sectors
Sector 1: within 30 degrees
Sector 2: between 30 and 60 degrees
Sector 3: between 60 and 90 degrees
Sector 4: more than 90 degrees
What are the outbound radial interception sector
Sector 1: within 90 degrees
Sector 2: more than 90 degrees off
Outbound radial interception sector 1
You are within 90 degrees of outbound track. Attack with 45 degrees untill bar is moving
Outbound radial interception sector 2
You are more than 90 degrees off. Maintain heading parallel (same direction) as the required radial. Do this untill in sector 1 and then attack with 45 degrees
Determine entry holding, radial 090 inbound, you are on radial 250
1) draw your inbound holding on R090 (inbound track 270)
2) draw a line minus 70 (left) from R090, so Radial 020. Draw it to the center and extend it reciprocal
3) draw a line radial 090 through the middle and reciprocal (R270)
4) radial 250 is in the smallest part, so teardrop
Determine entry holding radial 190 inbound, aircraft is at radial 070
1) draw your inbound holding on R190 (inbound track 010)
2) draw a line minus 70 (left) from R190, so Radial 120. Draw it to the center and extend it reciprocal
3) draw a line radial 190 through the middle and reciprocal (R010)
4) radial 070 is in the second smallest part, so parallel

1) draw your inbound holding on R300 (inbound track 050)
2) draw a line minus 70 (left) from R300, so Radial 230. Draw it to the center and extend it reciprocal
3) draw a line radial 300 through the middle and reciprocal (R120)
4) radial 170 is in the second smallest part, so parallel
