Level II Geriatric Fall Criteria
A
- Patient > 75 YOA
AND
- Fall with obvious head trauma OR - GCS < 13 OR - A baseline change to mental status if altered at baseline

Level I trauma guidelines
A
- GCS < 8
- SBP < 90 mmHg
- RR < 10 or > 29
- Penetrating head, neck, or torso injury
- Flail chest
- Open or depressed skull fracture
- Paralysis
- Intubated trauma patient
- EP discretion
- Receiving blood products for HypoTN Tx

Level II Trauma Criteria
A
- Crushed, degloved , or mangled injury proximal to wrist/ankle
- Amputation proximal to wrist/ankle
- open fracture proximal to wrist/ankle
- Pelvic instability
- multiple long bone fractures
- High risk MOA with GCS 8-13
AND
one of the following
• ejection from motor vehicle
• Intrusion of 12” on occupants side or 18” in any other portion of passenger cmpt
* Death in passenger cmpt
* Rollover
* Entrapment
* Auto v ped or bicycle
* Motorcycle crash
* Fall > 20’
* ATV accident - Burns with associated trauma
- ED physician discretion
