Q

An accurate way of calculating units of alcohol is?

A

The percentage alcohol by volume of a drink equals the number of units in one litre of that drink

Eg
- Strong beer at 6% alcohol by volume has six units in one litre.
So if you drink half a litre (500ml) - just under a pint - then you had three units
