What are the qualification requirements for the Korean tactical zone (P518)?

A

PC’s must be qualified in each Katz sector & NFA corridor in which they will operate. An orientat flight for each Ktz sector, training will include KTZ sector knowledge of the NFL, Corridor positions, major terrain features, disorientation procedures, lost communication procedures, and procedures for HOTDOG and JACKRABBIT. During orientation trainee may or may not be at a set of flight controls.

A qualification flight (eval’d by a different trainer if possible) in which the pilot demonstrates knowledge of this regulation and have the ability to navigate the applicable KTZ sectors and applicable NFA corridors with the aid of a map, without error. A lapse in currency requires a currency/qual flight w/a trainer. During qual flights the trainee must be at a set of flight controls.
