A mechanical irregularity is discovered at the gate prior to blockout. Describe the actions that must be taken.

A
  1. Note the irregularity
  2. PIC writes up the irregularity in Flightview
  3. Place M-288 tag on the thrust levers
  4. Ensure the aircraft goes OTS on Flightview
  5. Contact maintenance
  6. Wait for maintenance to fix or defer
  7. Ensure the aircraft returns to service in Flgihtview and comply with any applicable MEL
  8. Remove M-288 tag
  9. Restart flow if applicable

  1. The PIC must reactivate the flight and report the irregularity to maintenance
  2. Maintenance determines the action required to correct the irregularity
  3. Once complete, the PIC must again close out the flight
