Area after runway that is clear of obstacles, for planes to fly over in their initial ascent
decision height (DH)
lowest height (In feet) in which if a pilot can not see visual references, they must stop landing
holding/flying a hold
plane flying in an oval flight path near the airport waiting for clearance to land
Runway Visual Range
distance away from the airport that the pilot can see runway markings/lights
threshold
start or end of a runway
taxiway
paved are that planes travel on between terminal and runway. Marked by yellow line
