What is the fan generally made from?
A
Titanium is often used for its high strength to weight ratio, corrosion and creep resistance.
Carbon fibre reinforced plastic can also be used and reduced the impact damage from bird strikes.

Higher temperature resistant materials such as iron, nickel and/or titanium based alloys

Temps can reach 1000 degrees, so nickel or cobalt based super alloys should be used.
