What is Gulfstream’s Cabin Essential design?
It’s incorporated into the cabin systems to enhance the reliability of your entertainment, lighting and service systems throughout your flight. Major cabin systems have been designed with redundancy so a single-point failure will not result in the loss of cabin functionality
What dampens the main entry door during opening?
Trapped fluid in the actuator
What happens when the outside door switch is selected to CLOSE?
The circuit energizes to CLOSE provided EXTERNAL BATTERY switch is first selected ON, aux pump operates, and the door closes. Once the door is closed and electrically latched, circuit is deenergized, aux pump shuts off, and EXTERNAL BATTERY may be selected to OFF.
What’s the purpose of the DOOR SAFETY switch?
When depressed, the DOOR SAFETY switch prevents the door from closing.
How could you investigate the baggage compartment from the main cabin without opening the baggage compartment door?
A peep hole is provided to inspect the baggage compartment in the event of an onboard fire in the baggage area.

Describe the seal on the external baggage door.
It features a passive seal to maintain pressurization
What is EVAS?
An Emergency Vision Assurance System (EVAS) is provided in the cockpit (one unit for each pilot). In the event of smoke in the cockpit, an Inflatable Vision Unit (IVU) may be deployed to provide improved visibility of the flight displays and the aircraft flight path through the windscreen.
Describe the primary escape routes on the G650.
Primary escape routes include the main entry door and four (4) emergency exit windows.
What information is stored on the cockpit voice recorder (CVR)?
Most recent two (2) hours of all audio signals transmitted and received by aircraft crew members, including all conversation in the cockpit. The last 30 minutes of data are safely stored in solid state memory.

What are the requirements for erasing the CVR?
The aircraft must be stationary with the main cabin door open and the WOW system in the ground mode
