What is a distress situation?
When in grave and imminent danger. Immediate assistance is required
What is an urgency situation
Difficulties compelling an aircraft to land but immediate assistance is not required

I = IFR V = VFR Y = IFR to VFR Z = VFR to IFR
How long before a flight should a flight plan be field?
Uncontrolled = 30 mins before EOBT
Controlled = 60 mins before EOBT
When airborne = 10 mins before boundary
When should a flight plan be refilled in case of delay?
Uncontrolled = 60 mins after EOBT Controlled = 30 mins after EOBT
