  • Shut engine off when the air pressure rises to 120-133psi or compressor unloads.
  • With Brakes released and Wheels Chocked.
  • Apply brakes firmly.
  • After the intial pressure drop, the pressure should not fall more than 3psi in one minute.
  • Step on and off the brake pedal to reduce air system tank pressure.

Check for air leaks whe foot is on brake pedal.

The low air pressure warning alarm/light should sound below 65psi system pressure on gauge.

  • If not the alarm may be disconnected.
  • Do not disconnect any warning alarms.
  • Call fire Maintenance

The Yellow parking brake valve should pop up at approximately 40-60psi, thus should set the parking brake.

  • Low buzzer and and light will come on.
  • Warning alarm/light will go off above 65psi.
