What were Wilsons ideas?
A
- Don’t be too harsh to Germany
- Strengthen democracy in defeated countries
- Giving Self-determination to small countries that had once been part of the European Empire.
- International co-operation

A
- Wanted Germany to lose it’s Navy
- Wanted Germany to lose its colonies
- Didn’t want Germany to be punished too badly
- He wanted to keep trade between Britain and Germany

- He wanted to completely destroy Germany
- He had already seen Germany invade France once in his life meaning that he saw this as a chance for him to seek “revenge”

A
- They disagreed over the Rhineland and coalfields in the Saar.

-France wanted to punish Germany, however, Britain did not want as they wanted to keep the trade between the two countries.
