There will be no significant difference ( in the DV) between (condition a of the IV) and (condition b of the IV). Any difference will be due to chance.

CORRELATION- DIRECTIONAL (ONE TAILED) HYPOTHESIS?

There will be a significant positive (or) negative correlation/ relationship between score on one variable and score on the other variable.

CORRELATION - NON DIRECTIONAL (TWO TAILED) HYPOTHESIS?

There will be a correlation/ relationship between score on one variable and the score on the other variable.
