What is the ‘Agentic’ state?
A
Where you give up your free will to follow orders of an authority figure. We become their ‘agents’.

What is ‘Autonomous’ state?
A
This is where we are freethinking and able to make our own decisions. We are fully responsible for our own decisions.

What is ‘Agentic shift’?
A
This is where a person switches from autonomous state to agentic state.

What is ‘Moral strain’?
A
This is where the individual may feel guilty and uncomfortable with what they’re doing. They may visibly show strain- shaking, crying, sweating. They carry out the immoral act for the greater good.
