What is African socialism?
A
It is the traditional African institution of extended family system (socialization in the family) It is the basis of the traditional African Society that Julius Nyerere was looking into doing/did.

What we’re the characteristics of a society like that?
A
- It made sure everyone was a worker so everyone was justly rewarded
- Land was communally owned and held on the concept of family hood( ujamaa)

What was it uniquely African like why did it differ form European socialism?
A
It differed because it didn’t come from class conflict like European socialism did
