What does AEE stand for?
Assessment of Environmental Effects
Whats in a AEE?
Description of your activity. Assessment of potential effects. Significance. How they may be avoided, remedied or mitigated.
What is a cumulative effect?
An effect that builds up over time in combo with other effects.
Once effects have been recognised this what has to be done?
Need to make an assessment of magnitude.

- Minor effect
- Major effect
- Critical effect
What is permitted baseline?
What is permitted to occur without resource consent.
What is existing consented activities?
Considered to be part of the existing environment. Need to consider its effects.
What is consultation?
Not a requirement under the act but it is recommended.
