Q

What is the US Navy’s alternative to omitting deco stops?

A

If diver ascends from 6m or shallower, feels well and can return within 1 minute, descend to required stop depth and continue, adding 1 minute

If diver ascends from 6m or shallower and is not able to return within 1 minute, diver can return to stop and multiple stop time by 1.5

If a diver ascends from a stop deeper than 6m, return the diver to first stop, follow schedule for any stops 12m or greater, use 1 minute between stops, multiple 9, 6 and 3m stops by 1.5
