- shows excessive and blind obedience to authority
- suspicious and hostile to people who they perceive as below them

What causes an authoritarian personality?
A
A very strict upbringing with Critical and harsh parents
This person cannot express hostility towards their parents, so they transfer the aggression onto easier targets (people below them)

A
People with less education have a higher authoritarian personality. Which suggest lack of education causes obedience and authoritarianism, not authoritanism causing obedience
