What is it, what does şt do? Bioavailability and side effects?

A

Ritalin
ADHD and narcolepsy treatment
Blocks dopamine and noradrenaline uptake.
Bioavalibility: T1/2 = 2-4 HRS
SIDE EFFECTS: insomnia, decreased appetite, emotional unstability, (dose dependent and dissappear during course of therapy), maybe cardiobascular problems

Less side effects than ritaline
