Methylphenidate
A
First line for ADHD (if over 6)
NE AND dopamine reuptake inhibitor (stimulant)
Decreased appetite, insomnia, headache
BB: Abuse, misuse, addiction

Atomoxitine
A
Non-stimulant alternative to Methylphenidate, good for history of substance abuse. Selectively inhibits reuptake of NE only.
Side effects: Nausea, HA, Insomnia, drowsiness, increased HR, HTN
BB: Increased suicide risk
