drugs and alcohol- non medical use of drugs
The ADF has zero tolerance to the non medical use of drugs and it will usually result in termination of your service
Defense force discipline act
ADF personnel are subject to military law that may require them to live work and fight anywhere in Australia at short notice
the discipline act is a legal system that concerns offences that are uniquely military or offences that occur in a military environment in Australia or overseas

IMPS
initial minimum period of service is a condition of service that requires pull time candidates to serve a minimum period of service, usually between 4 and 6 years.
Unrestricted service
ADF members are required to be available at all times to be moved or deployed across Australia or overseas. this work may involve overtime, irregular hours, shift work.
my understanding of a combat role
A combat role entails the possibility to be deployed in active warzones to fight, capture or kill an enemy.
