What is Scotland divided into?
A
73 single member constuencies and 8 large regions

How do voters vote?
A
There are 2 separate ballots
They vote once for a constitency member and then separately for a party in the regional vote

Who wins?
A
The candidate with the most votes in each consituency wins. This is calculated in the same way as First Past the Post

What formula is used to allocate the regional seats?
A
d’Hondt formula - the formula is number of regional votes for a party divided by the number of seats a party has in region plus 1
