Strong legs/wings to run/fly fast, sharp claws to bring down prey, camouflage to sneak up on prey, good vision and sense of smell.
Name some adaptations of plants that live in the desert.
Thick waxy cuticle to reduce water escaping, a large stem to store lots of water, widespread roots to collect water from a large area, spines instead of leaves to reduce surface area for water loss and also to physically defend the plant from predators.
How to trees cope with the winter?
Trees loose their leaves in winter to save energy. The fallen leaves provide a layer of warmth at the trunk of the tree and the nutrients can also be reused.
