What is Azure AD Connect?
A
It is a service that enables you to connect Azure AD with you on perm AD to provide a number of identity functions,
- Password hash (hash of pass is synced with AAD)
- Pass-through auth (Auth is passed through to on prem)
- Federation integration (federate on-prem with (AAD)
- Sync of user, groups and other objects (Full sync)
- Health monitoring
