Answer 1

Increase in serum creatinine of ≥0.3 mg/dL or ≥50% within 48 hours

OR

Urine output of <0.5 mL/kg/hour for >6 hours

What are the indications for hemodialysis?

Answer 2

Acidosis ( pH < 7.1)
Electrolytes (Refractory hyperkalemia >6.5)
Intoxications
Overload (fluid refractory to diuresis)
Uremia (pericarditis, encephalopathy)
